Zeno

Of Greek origin.

From the Greek name “Ζήνων”, Zenon, deriving from Zeus, the ancient Greek God.

Two Greek philosophers were named Zeno.

Zeno of Elea and Zeno of Citium.

Zeno of Elea was a pre-Socratic philosopher, which Aristotle called “inventor of the dialectic”.

He is best known for his series of philosophical problems, called “Zeno’s Paradoxes”.
