Jasmine is the name of the climbing plant that has colorful and fragrant flowers and it is used for making perfumes.

Jasmine is a genus of shrubs and vines in the olive family.

It contains around 200 species native to tropical and warm temperate regions of the Eurasia, Australasia and Oceania. Jasmines are widely cultivated for the characteristic fragrance of their flowers.

It is derived from the Persian “Yasamen” which is also a Persian name.
